Meet Our Characters
Meet the Team
These are the focal characters in every story.
jet airliner jones
Jet is the main character. He is the narrator for most stories and, as you may be able to tell, he is a housefly.
lt. carver woods
Carver Woods is a retired Marine Corp Lt, private investigator and best friend to Jet. He is a carpenter ant.
sonny burrows
Sonny Burrows is another of Jet's best friends. He is a highly educated, highly skilled, very opinionated, temperamental mole with an attitude.
sawyer woods
Sawyer Woods is a carpenter ant and beloved little sister of Carver Woods. She is a tech savvy college student at Louisiana Swamp University.
dirk shadows
Dirk Shadows is a vampire bat. He joined the team at the college reunion after being introduced by one of his professors. He doesn't skip a beat though and immediately becomes an active member of the team.
ryder dye
Ryder Dye is a giant brown bear. He is a bounty hunter and head of a Christian motorcycle gang. He doesn't join the team until much later. Look for him in a future story.
The Supporting Cast
This group of characters will continue to grow. With each new story, new characters will be added here.
dr. skip hopscotch
Dr. Skip Hopscotch is a grasshopper. He is a professor of Roomatology at Louisiana Swamp University. He is also one of the advisors to Jet and the team.
dr. edgar allen pugh
Dr. Edgar Allen Pugh is a raven. He teaches Victorian Era Literature at Louisiana Swamp University. Like Dr. Hopscotch, he is a trusted advisor to Jet and the team.
larry crabbe
Larry Crabbe is the old "crabby" janitor at Louisiana Swamp University and is at the provider of the very first adventure for the team. The big question is: Which came first? Louisiana Swamp University or Larry Crabbe?

The Carpenter's Call Faith Learning, Inc. is a nonprofit nondenominational organization offering nontraditional online Bible classes for middle and high school aged homeschooled students. All kids ask questions, especially about God and the Bible, but how many get the answer they are looking for? We use a story-based curriculum with fictional characters much like The Housefly Chronicles to address these questions individually with Biblically-based answers.
